Choir celebrates award of cup

The Bournemouth Community Gospel Choir has triumphed for the second year running at the prestigious New Milton Music Festival.

In 2007 the choir was placed first with "honours" in the Adult Choirs Competition. The choir received a considerable accolade from adjudicator and Dorset musician, Richard Hall, who described the performance as one which demonstrated a
"lovely open style of singing...musically most effective..excellent words, voices blending, confident, accomplished & most enjoyable singing"

This year the competition took place on Sunday 16th March 2008 and once again the Choir won the Adult Choirs Competition.

BBC1 TV's Last Choir Standing

The Bournemouth Community Gospel Choir auditioned for the popular BBC Television competition - The Last Choir Standing. It was selected as one of the top 60 choirs and auditioned in front of the judges at Cardogan Hall in London.

Rehearsals

The Bournemouth Community Gospel Choir meets at

The rehearsal space will usually be in the Hall, but on the occasions when the hall is busy, we will be in the Music Department. Access is via the main reception entrance.

When you arrive at the site please take the left fork in front of the school to drive onto the staff carpark which is our parking area - there should be someone around to direct you providing you are there by 6pm.

Autumn Term 2008

£3.50 per session

or

£35 per 12 week term in advance

(concessions/OAPs; unwaged : £3.00 per session, £30 per 12 week term in advance)
