BOURNEMOUTH COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR

BCGC rehearses at the YMCA, Jameson Rd, Winton. The time for the rehearsal is 7-8.30pm (doors open at 6.45pm)

We will be officially resuming rehearsals on Thursday 2nd September 7-8.30pm. There are 14 sessions leading up to Christmas.

Rates:

• Discounted rate per half term will be £25 (as opposed to £28)
• Discounted rate for the whole term £48 (as opposed to £56)
• Pay-as-you-go £5 per session

BCGC are singing in the town centre during the Airshow Celebrations, Friday 16th August 6.10-6.50pm

ITALIAN TOUR

The Bournemouth Community Gospel Choir has recently returned from a 5-day concert tour performing in Florence and the surrounding area.

The choir received a warm welcome at St Mark's Church in Florence and the "host town" of Montecatini Terme where over 300 of the townspeople turned out to attend the open-air evening concert performed on the steps of the "Basilica".

The choir received a standing ovation for their energetic and inspirational performance. You can see a video on the choirs page.

SUMMER VOCAL HARMONY WORKSHOPS.

These will be throughout August at the YMCA, Jameson Rd, Winton, Dorset. Details to follow

TALENTED PERFORMERS WANTED

I am looking for potential acts to provide a “family-style” entertainment over the period from 19th November – 2nd January 2011.

There will be a fully operational stage with professional sound equipment + lighting with experienced operators to support your performances.

The shows will be advertised through local radio and press and other advertising opportunities will be available.

All parking will be free for performers and a voucher will be available to access drinks from the bar on site.

The Christmas Market this year is supporting “Julia’s House” charity and if you decide to take up this opportunity to perform then you will be acknowledged as directly supporting this charity as well as making a valuable contribution to the town of Bournemouth.The time slots available fit into the hours from 9.30am-10.30pm every day. If you feel that you could provide us with a performance that would be in keeping with the Christmas Spirit and be suitable for families then please get in contact with your details.

There are no time limits so feel free to be on stage for as little as 10mins if that is all that you can do - or over an hour if that is what you need.
